About Tenacre: A Ministry of Christian Scientists

Tenacre’s Independent Living Programs invite Christian Scientists who are members of The Mother Church to join a community bound together by their love of Christian Science.
Our accommodations are for individuals who can live independently and enjoy living in a country setting. They bring their own furnishings to make it their home, a quiet place to continue their study and application of the principles of Christian Science. There are opportunities to make new friends and participate in the varied activities offered at Tenacre.

Christian Scientists-in-Residence (CSIR): Our ten independent cottages are either studios or one- or two-bedroom units. Each has its own living area, a small eat-in kitchen with all appliances, a laundry room, a front porch, and a back porch.

All residents desire to actively participate in Tenacre’s mission: Tenacre Foundation is a Christian Science nursing ministry expressing God, Love — our mission is to heal.

Tenacre’s mission statement is the umbrella for the ministries described on our website. They include Christian Science Nursing Department; Homecare; Haven for Healing; Tenacre School of Christian Science Nursing; Christian Scientists-in-Residence; Tenacre Visitor Accommodations; and the Spiritual Resource Library.

Tenacre is about 3 miles from downtown Princeton and conveniently located one hour from Philadelphia, PA as well as New York City. Our campus is situated in a peaceful neighborhood on nearly 100 acres of beautifully maintained grounds with lovely, wooded walking trails.
