Broadview is built on a bright promise — the promise that loving, prayer‑based care will continue to meet the needs of Christian Scientists today and into the future. Since 1947, Broadview has fulfilled this promise by supporting healing through its Christian Science nursing ministry, honoring dignity, independence, and spiritual trust at every stage of life. This work is carried forward by Christian Science nurses listed in The Christian Science Journal, along with other experienced Christian Science nurses devoted to individualized, compassionate care.

At the heart of Broadview is Haven, the clearest expression of our vision for the future of care. Haven represents enhanced independent living — a true home away from home where independence is respected, care is thoughtfully integrated, and love is actively lived. Designed to support changing needs without diminishing purpose or identity, Haven reflects a forward‑looking model of Christian Science nursing that values continuity, community, and spiritual confidence. Here, lives are not managed — they are uplifted, stabilized, and cherished.

Broadview’s 11‑acre campus in a quiet Los Angeles neighborhood offers a peaceful, restorative environment that supports healing and reflection. Gardens of flowers and fruit trees, along with a cherished rose garden, provide beauty and calm. In a spirit of faithful stewardship, more than 80 percent of our electricity is generated by 1,441 solar panels on our hillside — a tangible expression of care for both people and the future.

With 39 rooms supporting Christian Science nursing care, staff housing, and guest rooms for rest and study, Broadview serves as both a refuge and a resource.
