Definitions of Services

Variety of Services – May include one or more of the 3 following services:
Residential Living or Sheltered Living
– Resides in ones own room or suite at the facility and receives the benefit of that environment while remaining primarily independent. May include such amenities as meals, transportation and housekeeping.
Assisted Living – Resides in ones own room at the facility and receives light assistance with personal care services such as incontinency, bathing, grooming and mobility. Includes meals and housekeeping.
Onsite Care – Christian Science nursing care under the supervision of a Journal-listed Christian Science nurse. May not be part of the residential program, but is available when there is a need.

24hrs Emergency Response – Awake staff are present on site around the clock and available in an emergency.

Activities – Varied formal and informally structured activities are provided which may include daily presentation of the Christian Science Bible Lesson, community events, and so on. Each facility has their own form of activities.

Meals – Three meals a day plus snacks are included.

Financial Assistance – Some form of financial consideration may be given and is individual to each facility listed.

Pets – Small pets are permitted. Check with the facility to learn what kinds of pets are allowed.

Housekeeping – Housekeeping services are provided and are individual to each facility listed.

Transportation – Travel accommodations to church and other activities are provided and are individual to each facility listed.

Laundry – Laundry services are provided and are individual to each facility listed.
