The Open Gate invites you to visit our lovely turn-of-the-century home with modern wing where twenty-four private rooms with private baths and four separate one bedroom apartments are available for full-time residence. Set in lovely grounds, The Open Gate is within walking distance of Long Island’s Great South Bay, the Bay Shore Christian Science Society and Reading Room, the shops on Main Street, the local YMCA and the railroad station to New York City.

Transportation to church, various planned activities, shopping services, three delicious meals per day served in our cheerful dining room, Christian Science Lesson-Sermon videos and tapes, housekeeping and other services are provided at moderate monthly rates. Some personal care is available for residents on an individual basis.

Guests are also welcomed for brief periods of quiet and rest on a daily basis.
