Fountain Court

Fountain Court is a residential community in Salem, Oregon for active practicing Christian Scientists.

Fountain Court has 13 one- bedroom apartments, 2 two bedroom apartments and a Guest apartment, all built in a “U” shape surrounding a large landscaped courtyard with a fountain. A modern elevator provides easy access to the upper floor.

All apartments are equipped with a refrigerator and electric stove but are rented
unfurnished. Each living room and bedroom is fully carpeted and drapes provided.
Weekly housekeeping and laundry service (bed linens and towels) are provided. A
laundry room is located on the premises.

Also provided are three meals daily. Dinner and supper are served in the central dining area and breakfast is provided to take to the rooms.

To help residents enjoy the area, van service is provided to many events and trips are arranged to sites of interest. A full-time manager lives at the residence and an assistant manager drives the van among other things. The atmosphere is that of a family home.

Salem is a city of about 140,000 located less than 50 miles south of Portland in the picturesque Willamette Valley. The snow-capped Cascade Mountains are 50 miles to the east and the Pacific Ocean beaches are only an hours drive to the west. Salem is the capital of Oregon and offers a variety of cultural, educational and recreational activities.

The local Christian Science Church is just three blocks from Fountain Court.
Van service is provided for all services and lectures.
