Daystar Foundation, Inc.

Daystar in Needham, Massachusetts, located ten miles southwest of Boston, is an alternative for students of Christian Science who, in later years, are looking for harmonious, meaningful activity without the daily responsibilities of maintaining their own homes.

It is an attractive, gracious environment where residents enjoy comfortable rooms, three balanced meals each day, spacious areas for study, relaxation and recreation, garden areas and ample opportunity to pursue their own interests.

Daystar is just two blocks from the center of town, with its many shops, restaurants, community programs and amenities, including convenient public transportation into Boston. The Christian Science branch church and Reading Room are nearby.

Opened in 1972, Daystar’s trustees and staff work diligently to provide a broad range of group activities, while also taking care to assure each resident full freedom and privacy for independent daily living.
